Where do Eggs Come From?

paigegreenphotography

Every day the kids collect eggs from the chickens (and hold them too) as part of our morning chores. Every child loves holding the chickens….not every child loves eating deviled eggs at snack time, but every child has to try one, and almost everyone decides they are not so bad.

A Sheep Named Paige.

©paigegreenphotography

The first thing we do each morning at summer camp is herd the sheep. By the end of the week we have a group of expert herders who are able to do it all by themselves, which is nice for us, but not as good for unsuspecting brothers and sisters at home!

Getting to Know You…

©paigegreenphotography

Curious cows and curious kids go well together. Just watch out for sandpaper tongue kisses. We allow only the nicest animals to live at Windrush Farm so that the kids (and adults) can get as close as they want. This allows all of our visitors to experience how wonderful animals can be.
